We had a heavy snowfall and the official snow amount of the upper ski area reached over 300cm!! In the last year, the snow amount reached 300cm on Feb. 21 (Tue), so it is 1 month earlier this year. There was 40－45cm deep fresh snow in the ungroomed steep slope along Kurobishi No. 3 Pair.

It was snowing quietly without a wind. Skyline No.2 was open at 9:20 a.m. because of the maintenance. By the way, the groomed areas of Kurobishi and Skyline Course was covered with 15cm fresh snow.

Furthermore, there was about 40cm deep fresh snow in the ungroomed area of Skyline Course! The slope under the fresh snow was a little hard, however, I could enjoy the feel of floating.

There was 2cm fresh snow on the flat and firm slope of Kitaone Rinkan Course and 5 damp snow in Shirakaba. This big cold wave is forecast to stay till Jan. 12 (Fri).
