It is blowing a strong wind this morning as well as yesterday and the lifts in Riesen Grat, Usagidaira, Kurobishi Skyline and the gondola are suspending the operations as of the noon. Riesen Slalom and Panorama Course were open after 8:00 and 9:30 a.m, but our visibility got all white because of the snow blew by the strong wind. The 2 people who have visited Happo for over 30 years said, “I met Snownavi after 10 years finally! Today, the snow is so fine!”

Therefore, Riesen Slalom and Panorama were very crowded and the lifts had lines. Both of the slopes had a lot of people, but the condition was still good thanks to the heavy snow, so I could ski comfortably. On the side of the courses, there were newly 50cm fresh snow.

By the way, I find more and more people from abroad from Christmas. The number of Japanese people will also increase because the New Year Holiday will starts, so the ski area will get more crowded from tomorrow.

The north steep part of Nakiyama had also 30cm fresh snow. The groomed slopes were soft and flat and there were many groups of families and ski lessons. The slopes were not so bumpy, because they were gentle.
