It has been snowing heavily from the last noon and the official snow amount reaches 200cm!! Today, Olympic Course Ⅰ, Upper Kokusai and Central Course are open!! 3 people from Shizuoka said to me, “We always enjoy your reports! We are really excited with the fresh snow!”
[Olympic Course Ⅰ]
It was blowing a strong wind in the upper areas, so the lift there including Alpen Quad and the gondola were closed. In Olympic Course Ⅱ, there was 45－50 cm deep fresh snow on the skier’s left side.

The fresh snow was a little heavy because of the gale, but we could still enjoy the feel of floating. I could hear the shouts of joy like, “Wow!” and “Great!” The nicely firm groomed slope was covered with 10cm fresh snow as well.

Central Course had also over 40cm fresh snow! By the way, the course from Kokusai to Shirakaba was open as well. After that, Nakiyama No.2 Pair was open, but Riesen Quad and Kokusai No.1 Pair were closed because of the strong wind at around 10 a.m.
