Happo-one / ◎240cm / Cloudy2017.Dec.29

17122901_happoThe heavy snow from Dec 26 (Tue) stopped and at last, in this morning, the sun was shining. At Riesen Slalom Course, “Early Morning Operation” is held from today to Jan 3 (Wed). In the morning glow, I heard the announcement about the start of Nakiyama No3 Triple and Riesen Quad.

17122902_happoAlthough it was very cold, the slope was groomed widely and it was in the best powdery condition at Panorama. Some advanced skiers and snowboarders were riding with curving turns. It got crowded as soon as the slope opened. People waited for Kokusai No.3 Pair for a few minutes.

17122903_happoAt Olympic Course Ⅱ, the snow was dried, but a part of the stiff foundation was exposed. When I skied there, I found to scratch. There were many people, so the corduroy patterns were completely disappear before 9:00 a.m.
[Olympic Course Ⅱ]
17122904_happoFrom the middle to the bottom part of the slope were crowded because Alpen Quad, Kurobishi No.2 Quad & No.3 Pair and Grat Quad didn’t start the operation due to the strong wind. But many people stayed in front of lift station for about 30 minutes, including the man who gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports!”
