Risen Slalom which got available from at 10:30 yesterday has the maximum incline of 30 degrees, the average incline of 20 degrees and the 3.045m long course. The down-hill course from the end of Alpen Quad (a brown building in top right of the picture) to the start point of Risen Quad through the south side of Usagidaira is about 4km long.

The beautiful snow from yesterday got groomed and it was properly tight. Risen Quad started operation from 8:40 a.m. today so I could get ready for skiing as soon as I got off gondola.

From the south side of Usagidaira to the middle was moderately soft and the edge fairly bit the snow so I could ski with high speed. I heard a lot of people saying “It’s amazing today”.

The lower part of Risen Slalom which is called Usuba was a bit stiffed mixed with artificial snow. But entire course was groomed and I did not find any bushes, so I could make lots of turns smoothly. Today is the last day of the early season discount period. The prices of lift tickets will be changed from Dec 16th (Sat). (1-day Pass Adult: JPY5200, Child: JPY3000, over 60: 4700.)
