From 10:30 a.m. today, Riesen Slalom Course, one of the most popular courses in Happo, was open. Therefore, 5 courses are open now! In the upper part of ski area, it was snowing with the north wind and very cold with the temperature of -10 degrees.

There was about 25cm fresh snow in the ungroomed steep slope along Alpen Quad. It was dry and light. I saw experts rushing into the powdery snow.

In Sodeguro, the slope under the fresh snow was a little bumpy, but I could ski down there comfortably. After that, the weather got better and better in Usagidaira and Kurobishi, and even the soft sunlight started to be cast.

It was foggy from lower Panorama Course to mid-Usagidaira. The slope of Panorama Course was flat and nicely firm with 5cm fresh snow. It was in good condition, so I could ski smoothly even though there were many ski tracks.
