It was a calm Sunday. As I got off Alpen Quad, I saw people, including a family from Tokyo, taking commemorative photos. The family talked to me happily, saying “This is our first visit this year and we’ve stayed overnight. We’re really enjoying skiing at this time of the season!”.

I enjoyed turning on Panorama Course, on which powder snow was well-compacted. A group of people from Osaka and Tokyo gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your report!” They were “big fans of Happo” who came for skiing every weekend.

Alpen Quad was a little delayed. As it started to work around 8:35 a.m, many people headed for Usagidaira and Kurobishi Slope. The compacted area on Sky Line Course was also firm and in good condition. I appreciate many people speaking to me on the slope and the lift this morning.

“Usagaidaira Kids Park” is now open on the south side of Usagidaira Terrace (※10:00 a.m.～3:00 p.m.). Items in the park are Snow Runners (shown in the picture), sleds, buckets, and scoops. They are available for free. The park will be closed on Dec.15 (Fri). Instead of that, “Sakka Kids Park” will be open from Dec.16 (Sat).
