It’s been warm at the bottom of the mountain from yesterday to this morning. However, it was snowing at the top of the mountain and the wet fresh snow is at a depth of 2cm on the place that is compacted and 5-10 cm on the place that is not compacted. The snow was so clean and flat that you can ski easily along Kurobishi No.2 Quad.

The south side of Usagidaira and Panorama course are the same. Some skiers enjoyed making sharp turns and the speed. There was a good turnout even though it was a weekday. Happo was highly praised for the quality and amount of snow.

“We always enjoy your reports. It’s my first time to see a reporter”, visitors from Tokyo and Shiga talked to me. The weather forecast said a major cold wave was coming tonight because of a winter pressure pattern. We’re looking forward to seeing tomorrow powder!

“SHOP TENKU” has just been opened on the first floor in Usagidaira terrace, where the bakery café used to be in the last season. That is a variety goods shop and having a great selection of Oakley. Also, Corona Escape Terrace and Trattoria Primo will be also open this weekend.
