We had a calm Sunday. It was chilly in the morning with the temperature reaching -6℃ early in the morning because of radiation cooling. However, it has become comfortable thanks to the sunshine. A party of people in the picture waved to me and gave a demonstration of beautiful “train”, turning sharply.

The slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad was well groomed and firm. I was able to carve comfortably in the slope in good condition. I enjoyed getting up speed and turning as widely and sharply as I wanted. I saw people skiing down with beautiful turns.

Not only the Northern Alps, but also silhouetted mountain ranges in the east were also amazing this morning. A party of people from Shizuoka, who were moved by the view, said, “We often visit Happo every year and today is the first time this year”. I appreciate many people talking to me.

The compacted slope of Skyline Course was also firm enough to ski down comfortably. About 15 cm of fresh snow left in the non-compacted part, such as area along lifts, was left softer than I expected, however, only a few people were challenging.
