Although we could see the blue sky in the early morning, the gray clouds began to cover the sky from west when the gondola started the operation around 8:00 a.m. It was comfortable and not too cold in this morning. The temperature was 1 degree. The snow at Kurobishi was groomed well and properly tight, so it was in good condition to ski fast.

Today is Monday, therefore, few people came early. Most of them went to Kurobishi No2 Quad, using Gondola and Alpen Quad. The snow at skier’s right of Usagidaira was groomed well, but we sometimes found muddy area in the middle part, which had a little snowfall.

Because of the irregular bumps and the iced slope along Alpen Quad, it was difficult for even the advanced riders to catch the rhythm. The couple from Shiga prefecture talked to us, “we always see your website!”

There were many visitors in Panorama, same as Kurobishi No2 Quad. The groomed area was spoiled around 9:30 a.m., but the flat condition was kept, so we could ski fast. The artificial snow covers some important points, so there were no bushes and mud.
