I didn’t feel cold at the bottom of the mountain, but at the upper part, the trees and the slope turned white and it was really cold. The temperature was just -6 degrees! The wind didn’t blow, but it was a little bit foggy. The operation of Alpen Quad Lift started on time, at 8:15 a.m.

The advanced skiers & snowboarders went to the non-groomed steep slopes as soon as they took off the lift. The foundation was a little rough, but not stiff. So I enjoyed 20-25cm fresh fluffy powder snow.

The powder snow along Alpen Quad was finished soon and then, many people went to Sodeguro (the northern part of Alpen Quad). It was in good condition to ski at the groomed area of the southern part of Usagidaira and Kurobishi No2 Quad. The fresh snow piled up on the firm slopes thinly.

There were many people even in the early morning, but as of 9:00 a.m., we don’t need to wait for lift. 2-3cm fresh snow was on the flat and moderately firm slope of Panorama Course. Thank you for many visitors gave me the watchwords and waved hands to camera.
