Happo-one / ×1cm / Sunny2017.Nov.12
Early yesterday morning was warmer than expected, but it the snowed around the area above 1,800m. Then around 11:00 a.m., because of the strong north wind, it got colder. The snow has fallen at the summit, and the cold rain has fallen at the bottom of the mountain until night. We can see the calm and fine sky this morning.
[Hakuba Happo-one Ski Area]
At the upper part of the ski area at Kurobishi, the snowfall was 1-3cm. The snowfall was 5-15cm on Oct. 31 (Tue), and the slightly snowfall was also seen on Nov. 5 (Sun), 9 (Thu), and 12 (Sun). Whenever the winter atmospheric pressure pattern is seen, the snow fell, not the rain, which indicates that winter is coming steadily.
[Kurobishi]
From the upper part of Skyline Course to Cafeteria Kurobishi, Kurobishi Forest Road was completely frozen. In addition, the fresh snow which fallen on the grass was dry and powdery.
[Skyline Course]
Although there was a little snowfall, today the mountains turned white at not only Riesen Grat, Usaghidaira, Kurobishi and Skyline, but also the upper part of Riesen Slalom Course, Panorama Course, Kita-one Course. According to the weather forecast, after today and tomorrow’s fine days, the low atmospheric pressure will pass again near Japan from Nov.14 (Tue).
