We had a cold morning with the temperature of -3.5 degrees. On the mountains, the rain from yesterday changed into the snow from this early morning and there was a thin snowfall in the upper part from Skyline Course. When I went to Riesen Grat, I felt much colder because of a cold strong wind.

The amount of the new snowfall was 1cm deep in Usagidaira, Kurobishi and Riesen Grat. It was not so much, but was dry and light. There was first snowfall in the mountain foot on the same day in the last year, so we hope we will have good snow soon.

The clouds started to break up as time passed, but there was a wintry atmosphere on the mountain still. According to the weather forecast, the lowest temperature will get below zero tomorrow and it will be snowy in the next week.
