It was a stormy and rainy day yesterday, but the weather got much better and we had the blue sky this morning. 2 people from Ibaraki Pref. cheered me, “We often check your website and reports!!” The sunlight was very warm, so the groomed slopes of Panorama Course and Usagidaira were already melting just after the ski area was open.

By the way, there was 10cm fresh snow on the upper areas even in this spring season!! The snow was a little heavy, but the ski tracks were made on the fresh slope of Riesen Grat one after another. The ungroomed slope along Alpen Quad also had fresh snow as much as Riesen Grat, but the bumps were deep and skis did not run well because of the yellow sand, so it was in difficult condition.

The amount of the snowfall in Kurobishi No.3 Pair was 5－7cm. The slope was not groomed but the bumps were not so deep. Besides, the bumps under the fresh snow were nicely soft, so it was easy to try. There were many clouds in the east, however, the mountains, such as Mt. Myoko and Mt. Takatsuma, showed its peaks over the clouds.

3 people from Yamanashi Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!!” All of them are expert snowboarders and they showed me their awesome riding. I started to feel hot around 9:00 a.m. when the slopes got more crowded with people.
