Happo-one / ○220cm / Snowy & Rainy2017.Apr.11

17041101_happoThe chill came back a little bit from the evening of April 9 and the snow is falling thick and fast this morning. Panorama Course was covered by the low clouds but it was cleared around 8:20 a.m. and visibility got better.
[Panorama Course]
17041102_happoFresh snow was about 1 cm on Panorama Course. Though the fresh snow was damp, the run under fresh snow was nicely firm corn snow and I could make turns comfortably. The operation of Alpen Quad was delayed so, many people were using the Kokusai No.3 Pair Lift.
[Panorama Course]
17041103_happoAlpen Quad started the operation from 9 a.m. because of snow removal work under the lift line. It became thickly foggy soon after that so, I skied down carefully from the beginning to the middle of the course. The groomed slope was firm and covered with 2 cm fresh wet snow.
[Usagidaira]
17041104_happoRiesen to Shirakaba is the only course to ski down to Gondola Base Station from yesterday, April 10. Riesen was groomed with width of about 10 m and the run was firm corn snow. The fresh snow on the run was heavy and it got rough; it was hard to make turns. The snow turned to sleet around Usuba area and it was drizzling at Shirakaba.
