The sky was covered with thick clouds and it was drizzling with the south wind in the morning. 3 kids and a father who got to know each other at Hakuba Happo-one Ski School gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!!” After that, they skied down the melted corn-snow slope of Riesen Slalom smoothly.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
It was thickly foggy in the upper part from Riesen Salom and Panorama and the visibility was very poor. However, the slope was nicely melting and skis ran well. The fog got thicker at around 9:00 a.m, but it almost stopped to drizzle.

The groomed slope of Panorama Course was not too melting and nicely firm, so I could turn comfortably. There was a good turnout in this morning and people who gave me the watchword said that they came skiing with a group of totally 60 people.

In Central Course, one of the available courses to the bottom, the amount of snow had decreased greatly because of the rain and warm weather in these days. The soil was exposed in the lower steep bumpy slope and only a few people came down here. By the way, “Hakuba Happo-one Spring Festival” (at Usagidaira Terrace) and “Big Vertical Race” will be held tomorrow!!
