The snow was falling lightly at cloudy Usagidaira. The temperature was dropped to -9 degree but it was windless and comfortable morning. The blue sky was started to spread from the west. Many people were going to mountain with big luggage soon after open of Alpen Quad.

The run along Alpen Quad was groomed in Feb. 25 but it was covered with about 40 cm deep big bumps and 8-10 cm fresh snow on. It seemed to be soft but actually it was hard and in a technical condition. The run of South of Usagidaira was groomed nicely and I could ski easily.

The sun was shining at upper part of Usagidaira but it was shadowed by the cloud at Panorama. The slope was nicely firm from the start to the end and I could make short and long turns very comfortably.

The groomed run of Olympic Course 1 was in a good condition and covered with 3 cm fresh snow. Only few people were skiing and I could ski very comfortably. The steep slope of Kokusai, at last part, was covered with small and big irregular hard bumps. It was very difficult to ski and I made every turns very carefully.
