Because the last early morning operation was held in Riesen Slalom Course today, Alpen Quad had a long line already before it was open as you can see. There was newly a 30cm snowfall in Usagidaira, so it took a long while to inspect the courses. However, the fresh slopes attracted people and almost nobody moved to the other areas.

After Alpen Quad started the operation at 8:05 a.m, 20 minutes later than schedule, people made beautiful ski tracks one after another. The 30－40cm snow was very fluffy and the slope under the fresh snow was also soft, so we could really enjoy the powdery snow today!!

In Usagidaira and Sodeguro, a lot of spray of snow was raised. Not only people who were riding, but also the galleries on the lift made shouts of joy. By the way, we could see the blue sky through the breaks of clouds once for a while.

After that, it got thickly foggy in Usagidaira and Panorama Course. However, I could ski comfortably, enjoying the soft feeling of snow. The visibility got better when I went down to Central Course. Shirakaba in the bottom area was also soft and flat.
