We had an ideal day for skiing and snowboarding with the clear sky! Today was a typical cold day of the top season and the snow was in good condition thanks to the radiative cooling. It got warmer and warmer as time passed.

The slopes along Kurobishi No.2 Quad and in the south of Usagidaira were groomed well and the corduroy patterns were very beautiful in this morning. Edges of my skis worked well, so I could turn as I imagined.

Skyline Course was a little hard, but it did not matter to skiing. After the opening on Jan. 28 (Sat), HAPPO BANKS THE SNOW PARK was closed because of the renovation and maintenance from Jan. 30 (Mon) to Feb. 4 (Thu). It has been open again today with the good condition!!

2 people from Shizuoka Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” The man in the left said as well, “At the last time when I met you, I passed “Happo no Tatsujin (An original skiing test in Happo) on the next day. I will challenge the technical prize test tomorrow, so please take our photos for luck!” We hope you will have a good result!!
