It was blowing a gale in the upper areas, so the gondola and lifts suspended the operations in this morning. Nakiyama No.3 Triple and Riesen Quad were open at around 9:00 a.m. Riesen Slalom was the only available course in the upper part, so it was very crowded with people even at 10:00 a.m.

Riesen Slalom was groomed well, the upper part was nicely firm and the lower part was a little hard. The slope was so busy that we had to wait for the good timing to ski. It got already rough and in difficult condition to beginners, but experts showed their skillful skiing and snowboarding among them.

“You are from Snownavi? I often see your reports!”, a man from Kanagawa Pref. greeted me. Even in the lower part, it sometimes blew a strong wind and made our visibility poor. The snow also got heavier as time passed, so I felt cold soon.

The well-groomed slope of Nakiyama was also nicely firm. By the way, as of 1:00 p.m, Kokusai No.1 Pair and No.3 Pair started the operation and Panorama Course is available.
