The operation of Alpen Quad Lift was delayed, so I skied down to Olympic Course and Kokusai, via Panorama Course, to make this season’s first report of these courses. Panorama Course was groomed very well and covered with 20 cm fresh snow.

Olympic Course had little ups and downs under 25 cm fresh snow. It was bit heavy but I could feel the fluffy powder snow. Many people went to Central Course and Olympic Course 2, so the powder race had been got fewer at Olympic Course 1.

The steep slope of Kokusai was covered with 15-20 cm fresh snow. The slope was little bumpy but the snow was soft and it was easy to challenge. So not only the experts but also the beginners and intermediate can enjoy the fluffy powder snow.

The slopes of Shirakaba was flat and covered thinly fresh snow. I thought that it was nice to ski here again and again. These guys from Hakuba gave me the watchword “I always enjoy your reports!” After that Alpen Quad, Kurobishi Quad and Skyline 2 started the operation from 9:10 a.m., 9:50 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. respectively.
