A typical winter pressure pattern brings snow from yesterday and there were about 25 cm of fresh snow at the upper part of ski area. The safety check had been prolonged and Alpen Quad has started operation 30 minutes behind schedule.

The long waited customers ran down to non-groomed area as soon as they left the lifts. The run was little bumpy but it was moderately firm and the experts were skiing down dynamically with snow spray. The customers were very excited and shouting for joy, even from the lifts too.

There were 20 cm of fresh snow on nicely soft flat run of Riesen Slalom. Though there were many ski tracks at after 9 a.m. but the snow was soft and it was easy to skiing.

The visibility was low because of the heavy snow fall and the fog. So it was difficult to recognize the snow surface and even some experts were tumbling down. These customers, from Osaka pref., were thinking of which course to choose.
