The winter pressure pattern was getting stronger and the strong wind was blowing. So all the lift was postponed. The wind got weaker later on and gondola start to operate from 10:30 a.m. Around noon the rain was falling lightly at the bottom but the snow was falling at the Usagidaira.

The strong wind blew in gusts and the snow blew against me from the side. The terrain was hardly compacted and thin new snow on it. Some place was very icy. These visitors from Nagoya, Aichi pref. gave me the watchword.

The wind got weaker as the time passes but the snow fall got stronger. Kurobishi was moderately firm and new snow was got rough. But the snow was soft and it was not disturb the skiing.

Panorama Course was also moderately firm and it was easy to skiing. Around 2 p.m. the rain changed to the snow at the bottom and falling strongly.
