Happy new year! We ask for your continued acquaintance. The weather differed from the forecast and in the morning, both at the top and bottom of the mountain, the fluffy snow fell silently. In addition, at Uasagidaira and Kurobishi, it had a thick fog. 3cm of fresh snow fell on the firm terrain, so it the course wasn’t in the bad condition.

Even when I skied down to Panorama, I was still in a thick fog. It was regrettable because the surface of the snow wasn’t bad. These visitors were from Chiba and Shizuoka. And the orange ski wears stood out!

Many people came to Riesen Slalom Course, because they could expect the clear view. When I skied down to the middle part, I could see the bottom, but instead of that there were some small stones and bushes in the course. I appreciate visitors from Kyoto talking to me.

At the bottom of Riesen, Usuba area, the artificial snow was enough and so there was no bush. Although there were some snow balls, I could ski safely. From the bottom, the weak sunlight began to shine, and the weather gradually became better.
