In this morning the sky was very blue. The wind didn’t blow and the temperature was 0 degree, which was a bit warm, so we could enjoy skiing without any warm inner wear. During this season, at the south of Panorama, the slope “Hyakkatsu” opens. At Hyakkatsu you’re not allowed to overtake, it means, you mustn’t ski fast. I recommend this area to beginners or who wants to ski slowly.

Also today morning, the snow was compacted along Panorama and Kurobishi Quad. At yesterday noon, the snow melted temporary, but during night it froze again. At the slope, the snow was stiff, but the edge of ski bit the snow firmly, so we can turn as desired. At the early morning, the advanced players, who skied fast impressed me.

By the way, Panorama is the lowest among 3 available ski slopes, but thanks to the artificial snow-making service, we can’t find any bushes at the north of Kokusai 3 (picture). The broad slope is one of the best places for warming up and practice.

Shirouma sanzan was beautiful, so I shifted my eyes to them many times at Kurobishi. At the south of Usagidaira, the snow was compacted. Some parts of the snow were thin, but it was no matter to ski. The snow got tight at the steep slope of Alpen Quad, where the snow was not compacted, and there were some bushes.
