Today is the last operation day of No.8 Pair, No.9 Pair and No.10 Pair. A family from Aichi Prefecture gave me the greeting, “We always enjoy your reports! We come to watch SPRING ROLL SESSION 2022.” The thin clouds were covering the sky and blocking the sunlight, so it was not so warm this morning.

The special course (Photo) of SPRING ROLL SESSION 2022 was located on the skier’s left side of the slope along Alps No.8 Pair. The beginning part was smooth, in corn snow condition and the snow was getting more slushy as I skied down to the lower part.

The groomed slopes of Satomi Chuo (Photo), Wakaguri Chuo and Wakaguri Rinkan Course were also in slushy corn snow condition. However, my skis ran well there. The steep slope facing the east of Rabbit Course was already melted as well.

A couple from Itoigawa City in Niigata Prefecture gave me the greeting again, “We always check your reports! We came skiing for a day on the first day of the last 3 holidays and then, we are staying at Hakuba Alps Hotel from yesterday.” By the way, “Spring Ski Discount” will start tomorrow and the 1 day ticket will be available at JPY3,000 for an adult and JPY1,500 for an elementary schooler. No.1 Pair, No.3 High Speed Pair, No.4 Pair, No.5 High Speed Pair and No.6 High Speed Pair will be open until the last operation day on Mar. 31 (Thu).
