One of the staff of the ski area said, “We could see the fresh slope groomed by piste crowlers this early morning, but it was already covered now.” As he talked, the nicely firm groomed slope of Wakaguri Chuo (Photo) was covered with 15-20cm fresh snow as of 10:00 a.m. After that, No.3 High Speed Pair was closed because of the strong wind in the upper areas.

I2 people from Shiga Prefecture whom I already met several times from Feb. 5 (Sat) and their two friends from Tokyo and Kanagawa said, “We always enjoy your reports! Actually, we got hit on by them about 5 years ago and we come riding together sometimes.” Rabbit Course was a well groomed and nicely firm slope which had 10-15cm fresh snow on it, so we could ski comfortably there.

Wakaguri Chuo (Photo) was groomed as well, but it was getting rough gradually as time passed. I also met international students from Cambodia! They said, “We are staying at Hakuba Alps Hotel and going back to our school tomorrow. Our home country, Cambodia, doesn’t have snow, so we have a great experience here!”

The groomed slope of Wakaguri Rinkan Course (Photo) was nicely soft and covered with 15cm fresh snow as well. 2 people from Shizuoka Prefecture who were in the same clothes said, “We didn’t get this snow clothes together. Our ex-boyfriends gave us exactly the same ones. We have already broken up with them, but we could not throw away these clothes.”
