It was fine weather today and I felt comfortably warm in the sunshine. Rabbit Course was thoroughly groomed and nicely firm. I enjoyed skiing and turning comfortably. While novice and intermediate skiers skiing slowly, advanced skiers went down the open space on the skier’s right side at high speed.

The upper area of Highway Course was groomed and nicely firm, while the lower area was soft and non-groomed. Mogul Course was empty, although it was well-prepared. It was a golden opportunity for practicing.

Kamoshika Course was also nicely firm. I saw some people coming through the upper area of the Highway Course. Highway Course to Kamoshika Course is a good route to enjoy both average and steep slope which is well-groomed. You can fully enjoy it by using No.3 High-speed Pair Lift.

“Good morning!”, said a party coming from Toyama Pref. on a day trip to enjoy back-country skiing. They told me they would head for Cortina via Wakagurinokashira (1,598m) to enjoy pretty slope.
