Hakuba Norikura / ◎240cm / Snowy2017.Feb.25

17022501_hakunoriNo.5 High Speed Pair was unusually late for the opening, so the slopes along No.3 High Speed Pair were crowded with people from the early morning. Students from Kyoto Institute of Technology University were also practicing hard toward Student Ski Competion in Iwatake which will start tomorrow.

17022502_hakunoriIt was snowing heavily at around 9:00 a.m, but the weather was calm generally. Highway Course was firm well and I could ski with high speed and quick turns. People from Osaka and Gunma Pref. cheered me.

17022503_hakunoriIn the nicely firm slope of Satomi Chuo, I found many families and students. the slopes of Wakaguri Chuo, Wakaguri Rinkan and Satomi-one Course were all firm and in good condition.

17022504_hakunoriI met 2 Americans from the state of Arkansas. I was very surprised because they spoke Japanese well, even in Osaka dialect! They said they had lived in Japan for 3 years and that was why they could speak Japanese so well. The self-responsibility areas had 5cm fresh snow, but the slopes were very hard and bumpy.
