Goryu&47 / ◎325cm / Cloudy & Sunny2017.Feb.26

17022601_goryu47We had a calm morning without a wind. Cosmo Four Lift was open at 7:30 a.m. because of the preparation of “The 45th Hakuba Goryu Riesen Slalom Competition”, a giant slalom ski competition for generations from children to adults. Not only the participants and people concerned, but also visitors could get on the lift and people started to ski with high speed in the groomed slope of Straight Whiskey Course one after another.
[Cosmo River Course]
17022602_goryu47When I climbed up to Alps-daira by Tele-cabin, the flat slopes covered with thin fresh snow spread over. The snow was not so hard as I expected and the condition was so good that the edges of my skis work well!!
[Grand Prix Course]
17022603_goryu47People looked to be excited with the good snow and more and more ski tracks were made one after another on the slope. Dynamic Course was also flat and nicely firm, so I could make turns as I imagined.
[Grand Prix Course]
17022604_goryu47The groomed slopes in the lower areas, such as Powder Snow Course, Soft Cream Course, Sunny Way Course and Toomi, were a little harder, but still in good condition. Besides, the sunlight was hardly cast into the slopes, so the snow remained dry and light for a long while.
