Goryu & 47 / ◎325cm / Sunny2021.Feb.10
Every Wednesday is “Hakuba Goryu Lady’s Day”! Women guests can enjoy all menus without drinks with 20% off discounts at “Yogorino”, a gelato shop on the 2nd floor in Escal Plaza. We had a calm sunny day after the windy weather from yesterday.
[Grand Prix Course]
The groomed slope of Grand Prix Course was in perfect condition with nicely firm snow! I saw people enjoying high speed turns and getting up with Alps No.3 Pair again and again. The snow was packed by winds in the off-piste areas along Alps No.3 Pair and in Technical Course.
[Grand Prix Course]
The all of groomed slopes of Panorama Course, upper Route 8 (Photo), Dynamic Course, Woody Course and Toomi were also nicely firm and in good condition as Grand Prix Course. By the way, the ridges of Mt. Goryu and Northern Alps were often hidden by the clouds today.
[Upper Route 8]
Powder Snow Course (Photo) and Soft Cream Course were also groomed and nicely firm with wet snow. In Straight Whiskey Course and Cosmo River Course, students were practicing hard for “The 41st Able Hakuba Goryu Student Demo Ski Competition” held from Feb. 10 (Wed) to Feb. 14 (Fri) (*Only registration and opening ceremony on Feb. 10).
