3 people from Osaka gave me a greeting, “We always check your reports! Today is the last day of our stay in Hakuba since Dec. 30 (Wed). We have come to Hakuba for 20 years, but there is the most snow ever this year. We had amazing 5 days!” By the way, the cute-looking center one is actually a man. It was still snowing quietly this morning.
[Lower Route 1]
The groomed slopes of Route 5 (Photo), 6, 7 and Soft Cream Course (4th Photo) were nicely soft and covered with 5cm fresh snow. Line-C was late for the open, so people took Line-A in the early morning (*Line-C was open at 8:35 a.m.)
[Route 5]
In Route 2, the groomed part was nicely firm with 10cm fresh snow on it and the off-piste areas on the sides had 15cm fresh snow as well. Although it was not enough to enjoy the feel of floating, it was fun to feel the soft snow on the skis. The bumpy slope of Route 3 also had 15-20cm fresh snow.

Mr. Kondo, a coach of Hakuba Freestyle Force, let us take a picture with his students, “Let’s get into the photo of Snownavi!” Hakuba Freestyle Force is a ski school especially for freestyle skiing for over 6-year-old children. This school has produced 3 members of the national ski team now.
