It was the first sunny day without wind since Feb. 3 (Sat). However, I felt chilly even under the sunshine in the early morning because of the radiative cooling. Two people coming from Australia posed for the photo, saying “Of course!” when I said “Can I take a picture?” to them.

Panorama Course and Route8 , which was groomed wide and flat, were nicely firm. They were in the best condition with powder snow making a nice sound. People arrived late because it was a weekday just before the three-day holiday. Thus, tracks of pisten were left for a long time.

The starting area of Route 1, which was groomed well, was also nicely firm to ski. However, it became firmer as I ran down. I needed to be carefully in the bottom area because I felt firmness of the artificial snow.

Route 5 and 6, which were well-groomed, were also moderately firm with powder snow. By the way, “Opening Park Party” will be held at 47 PARKS from 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, Feb.10 (Sat), in celebration of grand opening. You can enjoy mini-game for free in which you can have a chance to get luxurious prizes, photo-shooting by diggers, and more. Besides, half-pipe will become available tomorrow!
