Although the ridge of Mt. Goryu was covered with clouds, a clear blue sky spread above the slope. Two visitors from Chiba posed for a photo for the report after taking their souvenir photos. It was chilly with the temperature reaching -9℃ because of the radiation cooling. However, I felt comfortably warm thanks to the sunshine.

On the non-compacted area along the Alps 2nd Pair Lift, there was a mound of snow driven together by tracks yesterday. However, I was still able to enjoy turning because it was dry and soft with 10 cm of light new snow. There was powder snow left along the Alps 3rd Pair lift, too. I saw some advanced skiers skiing down in a cloud of snow.

Trees in the middle and upper area of the slope were covered with rime and standing out against the blue sky. While Grand Prix Course was crowded with skiers, Champion Dynamics Course was empty and tracks were left for a while.

About 70 % of Maryland Course, which was located in the lowest area, was compacted and soft. Some foreign visitors were enjoying taking a ski lesson in the warm weather.
