As the weather forecast said, it became snowy. At the upper part of the ski area, the snow fell silently without wind. The snow was flat and moderately firm at Grand Prix Course, and 5cm of the soft and fresh snow cover there. So it was really good condition to ski.

In this morning it got foggy many times, but the visibility became clear as the time passed. Two people from Osaka talked to us with smiles, “We always enjoy your reports! And the snow is amazing!”

The snow was groomed moderately firm at Panorama and 3cm of the fresh snow covered the course. I could repeat turns comfortably. The condition became worse a little when the number of the ski tracks increased, but we didn’t feel uncomfortable because the snow was soft. Around 9:30 a.m, the snow was still falling heavily, but actually I felt it got much stronger.

At last, two courses (Soft Cream and Powder Snow) in Iimori area will be open tomorrow, Dec 9 (Sat). [News] Sky Four Lift at Toomi will begin the operation, and you can ski at Gezan Course (Dynamic – Woody – Toomi). In addition, all courses of Hakuba47 will be available. And almost all (over 80%) of the slope at Hakuba Goryu & Hakuba47 will be available!!
