Finally, “all” courses are available in Hakuba Goryu & Hakuba 47! On the side of 47, Route4, the lower area of Route1 and Route7 are re-opened today. While, on the side of Goryu, Gezan Course which connects Dynamic, Woody, and Toomi in this order from the upside, Soft Cream Course, and Powder Snow Course are open. All course has become available over 1 month earlier than the past two seasons when we suffered from lack of snow!

This morning was the coldest morning of this season with the temperature reaching -10℃ in the upper area and -5℃ in the lower area. When I walked on the compacted slope, it squeaked. The upper area of Route1, Route 5 and 6 were well-compacted and flat. All of them were amazing with firm powder snow. Advanced skiers skied down with turning at high speed. They were really cool.

Steep Route2 was also well-compacted and firm with powder snow. The snow that accumulated until yesterday was left soft on the non-compacted edges. It was covered with about 5cm of light new snow and in good condition for trying.

There was no bush on the firm upper area of the Route1. Everyone on the slope looked happy. A group from Yamanashi gave me the watchword, “We always read your report!”. They seemed excited, saying “Everywhere from top area to bottom area is great!”. Parking lots on the side of 47 got almost full around 9:30. However, there was luckily no waiting line for lifts in the morning.
