Goryu&47 / ◎335cm / Snowy2017.Jan.23

17012301_goryu47Because of the winter pressure pattern, it had been snowing from the last evening. In this early morning, the groomed slope of Toomi was nicely firm and covered with 5cm fresh snow. My skies ran well, so I could ski comfortably.
[Toomi]
17012302_goryu47Powder Snow Course was also in good condition. I found many beginners taking lessons there. Two people from Kyoto were also practicing snowboarding at their own pace in the wide run.

17012303_goryu47Tele-cabin started the operation at 8:45 a.m, 30 minute later than usual because of the safety check. Almost all of people waiting for the opening of the gondola rushed into the fresh powdery snow. There was about 30cm fresh and fluffy snow in the ungroomed slope along Alps No.3 Pair!
[Grand Prix Course]
17012304_goryu47It was blowing a very cold wind. Besides, it was thickly foggy from the lower part of Grand Prix Course to the upper part of Dynamic Course, so the visibility got poor sometimes. The run was bumpy and people slowed down in those areas.
