“BURTON HAKUBA GORYU” will open tomorrow, on December 3 (Sat) on the second floor of the Escal Plaza. It is the first BURTON store in Honsyu that opened in the ski resort. A private showing was held today before opening and local people concerned came to the store one after another.

There were great variety of goods, including not only gear such as snowboards, bindings and boots, but also gloves, goggles, helmets, apparel and accessories. I thought everyone from beginners to experts would be satisfied with a wide range of goods.

In addition, there is a BURTON SNOWBOARD RENTAL in the store. You can rent high-spec model produced by BURTON, such as “CUSTOM MYSTERY” and “GATE KEEPER”. (2,500 JPY per 2 hours, 4,000 JPY per 4 hours, 6,000 JPY per 1-day)

Salomon Station across from BURTON SNOWBOARD RENTAL has been renamed “GORYU RENTALS” and renovated. Snowboards for beginners with good operability made by BURTON have been introduced. Of course, it has wide choice of SALOMON Snowboards as it did. Rental fee (ski・poles・boots or snowboard・boots) for a half day is 3,500 JPY for adults and 1,500 JPY for children under 18. Rental fee for 1-day is 4,500 JPY for adults and 2,000 JPY for children under 18.
