Goryu&47 / △110cm / Snowy2016.Dec.11
In Hakuba Goryu, Grand Prix and Technical Course have been open on Dec. 10 (Sat). The gondola started the operation at 8:15 a.m. on schedule and then, Alps No.1 and No.2 Pair were open. It was snowing with a cold wind and thickly foggy.
[Grand Prix Course]
Grand Prix Course was groomed well and nicely firm. 5-10cm fresh snow fallen in this morning was on the slope. We could comfortably make turns thanks to the flat run just after the opening. Technical Course which was not groomed was in difficult condition because of bumps.
[Grand Prix Course]
The snow was still falling heavily after a long while and the ski tracks were covered with fresh snow as soon as they were made. The visibility was better in Panorama Course, so we could ski down on the soft groomed slope with high speed. The trees were decorated with frost and made a wintry view.
[Panorama Course]
People from Aichi and Kanagawa Pref. greeted me. They said they went skiing in Hakuba47 and Tsugaike yesterday and looked to be satisfied with the powdery snow condition for these two days.
