Cortina / ◎375cm / Snowy2017.Mar.10

17031001_cortinaThe snow fall had temporarily stopped yesterday, but it started to fall heavily this morning. We have enjoyed powder snow for the last few days. So, Tree Areas, like along No.4 Pair Lift, were very crowded. I couldn’t help taking pictures of the advanced skiers skiing beautifully with dynamic spray of snow.

17031002_cortinaThe 35 cm of fresh snow was so fluffy at the upper part of the ski area! It had been snowing, so the every slope was soft and I could make the most of them. There was 20-25 cm of fresh snow at Itadaira Course, which was well-groomed and flat.

17031003_cortinaThe run under fresh snow was firm and sometimes I had a bottom-feeling. However, I could really enjoy very soft fresh snow. A man from Suzaka City spoke to me, and he showed me skillful skiing, raising a cloud of snow which was covering even his face. The snow was falling so heavily and it was foggy, so my visibility sometimes became bad.

17031004_cortinaIkenota was flat and nicely soft. And there was over 15 cm of fresh snow at the side of the course. It was mid-March but we can still enjoy marvelous powder snow every morning.
