Nakatsuna area was sunny but Chuo area was cloudy and the dry snow was flickering in the cold wind. The temperature was kept low after Mar. 7 and it was such a cold morning that I could not believe the ski area will close in after 3 weeks.

So the snow was in good condition and Kurosawa or Course 1-A was nicely soft. I could make turns as I imagined on the beautifully groomed slope and many people were taking No.1 Quad many times which was started at 7:30 a.m. By the way there were about 5 cm fresh snow at the upper part of Course 1-A.

I got on No.5 Pair and went to the north-faced Course 5-A. The run was groomed early and covered with 2 cm fresh snow. I enjoyed the powdery snow feeling from my skis and made turns comfortably.

As the time passed the clouds that was flowing through the sky fast were started to clear and the sun was started to shine for a long time. “Nagano Open Cross Game” will be held in closed course of Course 1-B & C. Also Kashima Japanese Pub is open at wood-deck of Central Plaza 1130 for today and tomorrow.
