How smooth this slope is!! The slope of Itadaira looked to be so fine and attractive that I changed my plan to go to Mt. Hieda Course 3 and hurried to the summit area. While we had a good snowfall last night, the clouds broke and we could see the blue sky with the sunlight at around 8:00 a.m. this morning.

The beautiful frosted trees welcomed us around the upper station of No.4 Pair. Experts rushed into Itadaira Course, Mt. Hieda Course 2 & 3 through the groomed flat slope of Mt. Hieda Rinkan Course.

In Itadaira Course, there was about 25cm snowfall on the run. It was not groomed last night and there were some hard parts under the fresh snow, but I could enjoy the comfortable feel of floating. After that, the slope got covered with ski tracks and rough soon.

All of the fresh snow in Mt. Hieda Course 3 had been “sold out” even at around 10:30 a.m. The temperature got higher and higher, so the snow got heavy as time passed. The slope of Ikenota was also getting melting, but we could ski comfortably there because the run was nicely groomed.
