Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy2019.Aug.01
After the rainy season had ended on Jul. 29 (Mon), It’s been really cloudy lately. It was sunny at 6 a.m. but it started to get cloudy after the park has opened. Temperature was high and no wind was blowing, so I started to sweat as soon as I started walking.

There were many mountaineers with large bags in the first ropeway. The park has started to get crowded with tourists after 9 a.m. I saw many families because the summer vacation has started.

Nikkokisuge are in best after Jul. 26 (Fri). Nikkokisuge are blooming in a cluster at the south side of Watasuge Marsh and the east side of Ukishima Marsh. Hiougi-ayame are also in full bloom at the both marsh. Ibuki-toranoo and Onishimotsuke are also blooming beautifully.

As I arrived at Yase-one Ridge, cool weak wind was blowing up from the south slope, and it was really nice to cool off the hot body. Fresh Hakusan-ominaeshi and Oogibaboushi are blooming along the well-maintained boardwalk of Yase-one Ridge.

From Mizubasho Marsh to Ukishima Marsh, orange flowers of Kuruma-yuri are also blooming beautifully. Hananiga and Kramatsu-sou are also at their best and Tsugaike Nature Park is in the best season for the flowers. Hakusan-fuuro and Yotsuba-shiogama are also started to bloom.
