Hakuba Tsugaike WOW! / Cloudy with a little rain2019.Oct.14
The first collaborative event by a local broadcasting station, FM Nagano, and Hakuba Tsugaike WOW”, “Aki (Autumn) Dasu!” was held on Oct.14 (Mon, national holiday). The opening ceremony took place at Yuki-no-Hiroba YETI from 9:15 a.m,, hosted by Ms. Yu Mukai (in the photo), who is a radio personality at FM Nagano,

About 90 people, including many families, joined in the event. There was not many cancellations, although I was worried about the influence of typhoon No.19, which moved across Japan between Oct.12 (Sat) and Oct.13 (Sun). They had fun at Amidasu in the morning, and then enjoyed a barbecue and smoking foods at lunch.

Children scattered into every floor in Amidasu, after taking a safety lecture by a staff member at WOW!”. It was cloudy with occasional rain but it was okay.

Everyone, including, adults, children and Ms.Mukai, was enjoying bouncing and jumping at Amidasu, which indicates a success of the collaborative event. They were all excited and shouting inside the building, although it started to drizzle around 11 a.m outside.

It was rainy and cold with the temperature at +7℃ in Tsugaike Nature Park. Dakekanba, Nanakamado and maple trees have already shed their leaves in the park. Meanwhile, the autumn leaves were still beautiful on the slope of the Northern Alps, shrouded in the mist. The autumn leaves are now at their best around Tsugaike Ropeway line and Tsuga-no-mori.
