When we got on the gondola from the pass at 8am, there was a lot of clouds in the sky. From the time I got on the Tsugaike Ropeway starting at 8:30 (pictured), clouds gradually started to break out and the vivid colors started to spread along with the deep blue sky. The autumn leaves came down the mountain and it was time to enjoy even under the train window.

At 9 o’clock, the temperature was as low as + 10 ° C, so I put a jacket on a long-sleeved shirt. From the Mizubasho marshland to the Ukishima marshland, a part of the wooden path was a little frozen and slippery. As if to support the cold, Hakuba was heard of the first snow last night.

The autumn leaves enter the “half-time period” as the entire Tsugaike Nature Park. The appearance of holding a camera stood out to capture the shining scenery in the sun. In particular, there were many people on the western route of the Mizubasho Wetland, near the bench at the entrance of the Watasuge Wetland, and the bench at Ukishima Wetland.

On the way to the prospecting wetland, I stopped many times on the slopes of the beautiful North Alps where the contrast was beautiful. Clouds flowed there around 10:15, but after about 30 minutes a deep blue sky again (photo). On the way home, Mt. Hakuba, who couldn’t see the prospect in the marshland, appeared again.

There were many tourists even on weekdays due to the autumn leaves season, and on the way back from the Ukishima wetlands to the Yodo River, we often gave way to people going forward. In addition, there is a temporary flight at Tsugaike Ropeway. By the way, from 10/12 (Sat) to 10/14 (Monday), the gondola starts at 7 o’clock and the Tsugaike ropeway starts at 7:30.
