It’s been sunny for the last three days, which is a great start for the autumn. The air was fresh, the sky was clear blue and the autumn leaves were fantastic. Besides, I was able to see the mountain ridge, and I couldn’t stop taking many photos.

After you enjoy the autumn leaves in Watasuge Marsh, you’ll have a forest walk between Kusu-gawa River and Ukishima Marsh (as shown in the photo). Maple leaves were turning orange and yellow, and Nanakamado leaves were turning red over my head. The red leaves of Okamenoki were also pretty near the ground.

Maple leaves are beautiful here and there this year. Some leaves are still partially green and I’m looking forward to them changing color.

Ukishima Marsh is the best place to enjoy the autumn leaves at the moment. As I walked along the round walk, there was a picturesque view stretching out in front of me. The red and yellow of the autumn leaves were standing out in the green coniferous trees. I saw people taking photos from different angles.

I felt like more and more leaves have turned yellow today compared to yesterday. By the way, “Autumn Leaves Festival” will be held from tomorrow, Sep. 28 (Sat). Rice pounding event will be held this weekend and rice cakes will be served from 11 a.m. Mushroom soup will also be served from 11:30 a.m.
