Hakuba Sanzan (in the photo) and Mt. Goryu looked magnificent against the clear blue sky from Gondola in the early morning. The first ropeway was almost full with people carrying big backpacks. Tsugaike Nature Park started to get crowded with hikers and tourists around 8:30 a.m.

Clouds were rising fast from the north, which covered the ridge of Northern Alps around 8:00 a.m, and it repeated being sunny and cloudy.There was a nice breeze and I cooled down when the sun went behind the clouds. We had a shower yesterday but the trail was in good condition overall.

I found colonies of Oni Shiogama at Mizubasho Marsh, which were beautiful. I also found Kurobana Rouge, which is rare species, on the western side (shown in the photo). MIyama Akinokirinso, Karamatsuso and Iwashobu were in full bloom between Mizubasho Marsh and Ukishima Marsh, while Ibuki Torano was at their best at Ukishima Marsh.

There was a line of hikers at Hakuba Daisekkei around Ukishima Marsh. I found lovely flowers of Tateyama Rindo, Kobai Keisou and Hiogi Ayame on the route to Tenbo Marsh, which had been covered with snow for a long time,

Sobana, Hakusan Ominaeshi and Ogibaboshi were trembling in the breeze on the southern slope of Yase Ridge. By the way, the eastern trail between Ukishima Marsh and Yase Ridge has been under repair. There were kind staff members at the repair site, so I could enjoy trekking as usual.
