Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy2019.Jul.10
“MIKKETA!”, an activity in which you can learn about wildlife and nature, is going to be held at Tsugaike Nature Park between Jul.19 (Sat) and Sep.30 (Mon). “Nature Explore Program”, which will be held for preschool children and their parents, costs 1,300 yen. Rental fee for kit and camera (shown in the photo) is included. You will be able to choose three photos you have taken in the park, make a photo album and take it home.

The blue sky stretched out in the early morning, however, it started to get cloudy around 8 a.m. with a little sunlight coming through. Miyama Kinpouge was at their best at Mizubasho Marsh. Iwaicho was also blooming at Mizubasho, Watasuge and Ukishima Marsh.

Kobai Keisou, which is big for alpine plants, was starting to bloom, especially on the western route of Mizubasho Marsh. More and more Kobai Keisou flowers will soon be out along with Nikko Kisuge, which is a midsummer flower also starting to bloom.

Chinguruma was at their best at Watasuge Marsh. I enjoyed taking photos of the flowers blooming along the southern trail of the marsh. Restrooms are available just past Kusu-gawa River from today, Jul.10 (Wed). By the way, there are other restrooms beside the visitor center as well as at Tsugaike Ropeway Sancho Station.

Chinguruma was at their best at Ukishima Marsh too. I also found five flowers of Nikkokkisuge, which just began to bloom. My eyes were caught by lots of vivid yellow flowers of Shinano Kinbai when I was walking along the trail to Ginmeisui.
