At 7:10 a.m. on July 22 (Sun), many mountaineers with large backpacks were getting onto the ropeway. The sunshine was blocked by the clouds and gentle wind was blowing and it was a comfortable morning.
[Kusukawa River–Ukishima Marsh, Tsugaike Nature Park]
Kids event “Tsugaike Treasure Hunting” (Free, for children under 12 y/o) will be held until August 31 (Fri) in Tsugaike Nature Park. Get the treasure map at the ticket office in the gondola base station and solve the mysteries on the reverse side and find the treasures! After solving the fifth mission, you can receive a gift (Tsugaike Cider).

Hiougi-ayame are in full bloom in Mizubasho Marsh. Nikkoukisuge in Watasuge Marsh were increased than previous report and the visitors can’t help oohing and aahing when they saw the flowers. And, Watasuge and Tateyama-rindo are also in bloom.

Kuruma-yuri are also increased than previous report and I was attracted by their beautiful flowers many times. Especially, the flowers with morning dew were very impressive. I thought blooming of the flowers was a week earlier than last year.

Nikkoukisuge were also in full bloom in Ukishima Marsh. Especially, the flowers in the back of round course were beautiful. Ibukitorano-o are started to bloom in the entrance of the marsh. And near Gimei-sui was also covered with beautiful Nikkoukige and they were attracting many people.
