This is a good year for Kobaikeisou. They are at their best in Mizubasho Marsh, Watasuge Marsh and Ukishima Marsh from July 10 (Tue). And also yellow Miyama-kinpouge are also in full bloom in Mizubasho Marsh.

People started early because it was a three-day weekend, and Tsugaike Central Parking Area was almost full at 6:00 a.m., same as yesterday. The ropeway was operating specially from the first operation. I went above the clouds when I was riding the ropeway, and it was sunny in Tsugaike Nature Park. Although the wind was blowing weakly, the sunshine was strong and it was a a scorching hot day.

I reached Tenbou Marsh by an hour and 20 minutes from the entrance of the park. Luckily, there were only few clouds so, I could see Hakuba Sanzan (From right Mt. Hakuba, Mt. Shakushi and Mt. Hakuba Yarigatake) in the clear blue sky.

Nikkoukisuge are in full bloom at the east side of Ukishima Marsh and Iwaichou are in bloom at where snow melted late. The park got more crowded at around 9:30 a.m..

I went to the west route of Mizubasho Marsh on my way back and I found fresh Hiougi-ayame. The clouds rose late today, and I could enjoy the view of Northern Alps even at noon.
